In our ongoing efforts to mitigate the spread of this virus we are asking all of our valued fitness members to avoid using the facility until 3/30/20. We are truly sorry for this inconvenience but we believe that it is in the best interest for the health and well-being of our community to abstain from recreational activities like the fitness program for a short period of time. We will remain open for our patients who are in need of skilled physical therapy care. Pausing the fitness program will allow us to fully utilize the space that the facility provides in order to care for our patients while at the same time maintaining proper social distancing.
We will be working with essential staff members only for a period of the next two weeks. So please be patient with us as we address all of your questions and concerns. I encourage you to follow us on our Facebook page, Upper Perk Physical Therapy for ongoing updates.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Blessings and good health to all.
As a valued member of the UPPT family, we appreciate the trust you place in us when receiving physical therapy and fitness services at our facility.
In the current environment, it’s important for all of us to be smart and cautious. That’s why I want to update you on the situation with COVID-19 (the coronavirus) and the steps we are taking to ensure your health and safety when you receive treatment in our office.
Clinical care is our passion. One of the promises that we have always made to our patients, clients and our referral sources is that we will treat our patients in a clean, neat and safe environment. This new virus does not change this promise, in fact it is why we make this promise. We are trained, to use safe practice patterns and protocols specifically designed to minimize the risk associated with transmitting germs. We’ve learned from past experience and have continually refined and improved our ability to protect our customers. That includes the way we circulate clean and fresh air in our environment as well as sanitize and maintain our facility and equipment. We are also extremely careful when we respond to a patient who may be displaying symptoms.
If you do have any questions and concerns regarding the coronavirus and what we are doing to mitigate the spread of COVID19 please do not hesitate to share your concerns with any of our therapists. We are more than willing to discuss this topic and ease your concerns.
What can you do? We ask everyone to frequently wash their hands and use the sanitizer located throughout our facility. We also request that should you be feeling ill, stay home and do not attend your scheduled appointments. Call us. Let us know how you are feeling and stay in communication with us. This way we will be here, ready and able to work with you when you are ready to return for your care.
Thank you for trusting us with your physical therapy needs. Stay in touch with us and look for our communication via our e-mail communications, web site as well as on our Facebook page.
Wishing you good health,
